In her first solo exhibition current reconstruction at Galerie Hubert Winter Judith Fegerl, born 1977 in Vienna, will discuss similar to former installations the condition of the exhibition space.
After her intervention SELF that exposed the complete electrical system of the art space (Kunstraum NOE, Vienna, 2010) and Implantat, a reduplication of the exhibition space at the Galerie im Taxispalais (Innsbruck, 2010) she continues with consequence her analytical questioning of space. The room itself with all his peculiarities becomes a vector for sculptural prosthesis. Wall drawings refer to existing circuits under the surfaces and subsurface. Technical and generative processes form a recurrent element of Judith Fegerls´ sculptures and objects.
The cycle of energy comes up in Reflux, a new work created for this exhibition. The artwork turn into a “thinking engine” that sets off an aesthetical production process, that will be depict at the end in new objects.
