Galerie Hubert Winter

1971

Galerie Hubert Winter opened on February 28, 1971, in the premises of a former dairy shop at Seilergasse 19 in Vienna's 1st district.

In the 1970s, exhibitions were held featuring Arnulf Rainer, Heinz Frank, Picabia, Panamarenko, surrealist drawings and photography, Henri Michaux, Josef Sima, and others.

1971

1974

Since 1974, establishment of an art bookstore and an antiquarian art bookshop specializing in surrealism.

Since 1979, continuous exhibition activity beginning with the first exhibition by Kowanz/Graf.

1999

1999 Move to premises at Breite Gasse 17, Vienna 1070.
