<p>TGGT: (Tomatoes, Grapes and Green Tea)<br /> "<img src="http://www.marciahafif.com/inventory/pixel.gif" width="1" />Wanting to work for the moment against the monochrome I divided the canvas vertically (not in the center but not either close to the edge making a narrow strip) in a proportion close to the Golden Mean, arrived at purely visually. Each of the two resulting vertical rectangles was painted in double glaze, one color over another. Inspiration for the colors came from objects from the world around me, another difference from my past work in which I was inspired by the color of the paint itself."</p>
